Celebration In Dance 2019 Presented by Singapore Dance Theatre

This is a one-night only exclusive dance extravaganza that you don’t want to miss. Celebration in Dance; a unique collaboration between the Singapore Dance Theatre and the Royal Academy of Dance is set to perform for the 4th time in a row featuring talented students from RAD at the Esplanade Theatre.
In addition to the school performance, there will also be a staging of Theme and Variations by George Balanchine and ZIN by Nils Christe. To give you an idea of the level of talent that you may witness, the students are all skilled at advanced dance routines like the polonaise, mazurka, pas de bourrée, tango rhythm and many more. In case you’re not familiar with the story, here’s how it goes.
Tang Sanzang together with his three disciples set off on their journey to the west. In their course, they came to Tianzhuguo, which is believed to be the ancient name for India. There, Tang Sanzang along with Sun Wukong fight battles and goblins and rescue the real Princess of Tianzhu who was actually a transformed version of the Jade Rabbit in Anhangong. The master and the disciples then continue their journey to the west.... Join in on this excitingly different performance and relive the classic once again.

Prince Parade is for everyone who loves girl power! It is the country’s very first female oriented Japanese Pop Culture festival created exclusively for the fans, by the fans.
The group started off in the year 2016 as a small gathering of 2D idol fans covering hardly a small corner of Suntec’s concourse. Now in 2019, you can see the group bloomed into a full-fledged otome festival complete with a wide array of celebrations. East Coast Choir Concert 2019

The East Coast Choir is basically a community of people with a profound love for singing. The group is widely inter-generational consisting of members as young as 7 years old to even senior citizens who are all passionate about choral singing.
They have had a number of successful performances at various occasions including the National Day Parade and the PassionArts Festivals. They are also known for their caroling skills for Christmas and New years.
Since 2015 they have held 4 annual concerts, all of which were grand successes. This year too, they are coming together at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre for their 5th annual concert. Beats on Pointe

Finishing up with an upbeat and high energy performance; Beats on Pointe is ready to dazzle you with a set of acts; ranging from athletic dance moves, freestyle acts, singing and accurately timed comedy through a dynamic modern story of two opposing dance worlds. The show is choreographed by the Masters of Choreography and it beautifully combines electrifying street dance and classic ballet to form a one-of-a-kind performance. Beats on Pointe is of Australian origin and they are coming to Singapore as part of their World Tour in 2019-20. Experts say that it is not merely a dance show, but a “theatrical extravaganza”.
