If you’re someone who used to listen to pop music in the 90s, then you’re probably going crazy right now on hearing the name “Westlife”. Perhaps one of the most popular and influential boy bands of the time; with 14 Number one Singles to their credit behind only by Elvis Presley and The Beatles, Westlife, as part of their 20th anniversary celebrations are set to make their grand return to Singapore this week. They will be performing most of their super hit numbers including “Uptown Girl”, “World of Our Own”, “If I Let You Go”, “Flying Without Wings” and many more along with their latest brand new songs.
“The TwentyTour” as it’s called is on its way to becoming one of their hottest selling tours of all time, as they made a record sale of 400,000 tickets in just 48 hours in the UK. You know what that means, you better hurry up and register!

We Are Singers

If you’re not into boy bands all that much, how about some energetic girls to kindle your musical vibe? The We Are Singers Concert in Singapore is bringing to you three popular and ultra-talented Taiwanese female singers this time; Liang Wen Yin, Xu Jia Ying, and A-Lin. They are going to rock the night on 10th of August with their most popular Mandarin songs that will definitely send you back in time. After having made their own place in Mandarin pop music, they are now a part of the Chinese reality show “I Am a Singer”. Needless to say, they already have a humongous fan following, not only from China but from all over the world.

SSO National Day Concert
Looks like Singaporeans love their music all through the year. This next event is for anyone who likes to sway and get lost in the sound of divine instruments. Get ready to celebrate Singapore National Day with an all-Singaporean array of musical talents featuring The Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Singapore Symphony Chorus directed by conductor Joshua Tan. You will get to see the magic of some of the best musicians in the country in the likes of Jeremy Monteiro on the piano, Tamagoh on drums, Christy Smith on bass and Samuel Phua on the saxophone. There are many more home-grown talents that you get to witness playing a number of familiar favorites including “Voices from the heart” and “March on” along with some new inspirations. On the whole, the night is sure to make you feel proud of your home ground.

Gardens by The Bay and MediaCrop National Day Concert

The National Day celebrations in Singapore this time are off the charts. Every single event is going to take you to a whole other world, and this concert is no different. You are promised two full days of exciting performances featuring some of the best artists in all of Singapore including Dick Lee, Kit Chan, Jasmine Sokko, Aisyah Aziz and many more. Majulah Walk and Run 2019

If you want to do something healthy this National Day, then you can be a part of the Malujah Walk and Run Event organized by the Yew Tee Citizens’ Consultative Committee and the Limbang Citizens’ Consultative Committee. The event is meant to bring Singaporeans together and allow people to develop a social group for themselves with like-minded friends. The run event is scheduled for 8 Km and the walk is for 3 Km. And fret not, of course, it’s not just about breaking a sweat. There will also be other fun programmes and activities as part of the event. After all, activities help break the ice and start conversations. Also, all participants will be given a mini national flag as well for the run.
