A Singapore Botanic Gardens Movie – “Ramen Teh” organized by Singapore Film Commission
Singapore Botanic Gardens
The Singapore Film Commission (SFC) is back this year with its second edition of B.Y.O._CINEMA – a series of five free outdoor film screenings, complete with free popcorn and candy floss. So pack your picnic mats, gather your family and friends and come join us for cinema under the stars. Visit IMDA’s Facebook page for details.
For its third screening, SFC will screen Eric Khoo’s Ramen Teh, a film that marries two worlds in this heartfelt tale about Masato, a half-Singaporean ramen chef from Japan. When he finds a suitcase full of tidbits of his late Singaporean mother's life, Masato journeys from Japan to Singapore, where he meets the family he never knew he needed: his uncle, bak kut teh seller Ah Wee, and his grandmother, who holds the key to his past.
Pack your picnic mats, gather your loved ones and join us for the movie screening!
