The Best Things to Do in Singapore (Apr 26- Apr 28)
It’s the last week of April… Maybe it’s the weather, or maybe it's just the mind, certain weeks can be so exhausting that you don't feel like doing anything. Don't worry, let’s look ahead to a happening weekend, to come back for May, all refreshed and energized! For now, don't lift a finger, we’ve already planned out a perfect mix of events in Singapore for you to try out this weekend. That's right, just read on and decide where you want to chill!
The Phantom of the Opera
Source: discoversg
The hit musical about a disfigured and emotionally tortured genius with near-mystical powers and a violent streak falling in love with an innocent, young opera singer who is in love with another man, is back in Singapore. The 32 years of its glory continues as people are still mesmerized by this evergreen haunting story. The legendary musical story has been playing across 30 countries to over 145 million people and has bagged over 70 major theatre awards including seven Tony Awards and four Olivier Awards, including one for Best Musical. Whatever said doesn’t do justice to this epic tale of love and tragedy and we highly recommend seeing it yourself at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands from 24 April - 12 May 2019. Organic-Friendly Farmers' Market
Source: Honeycombers
Experience the pleasure of bringing to the table fresh, organic and local produce grown here in the farms of Singapore to provide healthy meals for your sweethearts. Skip your usual supermarket and head down to Hotel Jen Orchard gateway instead to take a stroll along fresh organic produce, locally made snacks, and drinks and to shop from over 20 local farmers and vendors at the farmers’ market. Apart from seeing, getting inspired and buying from Singapore’s own proud food producers, you can also learn to grow your own produce in limited spaces at the ‘Eat Your Garden’ workshop by Ms. Debbie Han of Co-create Nature. It doesn't harm to eat healthy once in a while! For more details on this event in Singapore, check out our Events Calendar.
